Overview
Eleuthera Investments Pty Ltd ('Eleuthera') was established in 2018 to introduce differentiated world class investment managers to wholesale Australian investors.
Eleuthera was initially created to broaden and support the Holowesko Partners business in Australia and New Zealand. Holowesko Partners is a global investment manager based in The Bahamas.
In 2020, Eleuthera began working with the Oasis Management (Oasis) business in Australia - in addition to working with Holowesko Partners. Oasis is an investment management business that offers two investment strategies - a global market-neutral strategy that has a focus in Asia and a Japan engagement equities strategy.
In 2021, Eleuthera established the Strategic Fund, an Australian managed investment trust that provides investors with access to the Oasis Japan Strategic Fund via a domestic vehicle. Eleuthera may establish similar investment vehicles in future to allocate to other unique investment opportunities that are not otherwise easily accessible to Australian wholesale investors.
In early 2024, Eleuthera was engaged by Sterling Equity to assist with business development and client service. Sterling Equity is a Melbourne-based fund manager that invests in a focused portfolio of Australian and global companies.
The business name, Eleuthera, comes from an island in The Bahamas. The island of Eleuthera divides the deep and rough waters of the Atlantic with the shallower and calmer waters of the Great Bahama Bank.
Eleuthera is independent and 100% employee owned.

Andrew Nolan, Managing Director
Andrew founded Eleuthera Investments in 2018. He is responsible for managing the business and managing relationships with fund managers, investors, and prospective investors.
Prior to founding Eleuthera Investments, Andrew was an executive and shareholder at Warakirri Asset Management, where he was Head of Investment Solutions and subsequently Head of Investments. Andrew’s responsibilities included overseeing client management and business development, investment manager research, and product development - as well as managing and coordinating a distribution relationship with Mesirow Financial. Andrew has demonstrated the ability to to build and support investment management businesses, working closely with offshore investment managers. Andrew previously worked with Wellington Management LLP in Boston in an Equity Product Management role.
Andrew has experience in several asset classes, including equities, hedge funds, currency, agriculture, infrastructure, cash management, and multi-manager funds.
Andrew holds a Masters of Business Administration from Georgetown University, and a Bachelor of Commerce (Honours) and Bachelor of Arts from the University of Melbourne. Andrew is a CFA charter holder and member of the CFA Society of Melbourne.
