The Samurai Fund is now accepting applications.
The Samurai Fund invests, via LIM Advisors, in a portfolio of small and medium size listed Japanese companies. LIM Advisors takes an engagement or activist approach to create value for its investors.
The Fund is for absolute return-minded investors, who have a tolerance for price volatility and a time horizon of at least five years. The goal is to deliver positive absolute returns over the longer term and to outperform the relevant Fund benchmark.
The Fund is intended to complement investor portfolios, given its historical low correlation to global equities. The Samurai Fund may be considered opportunistic or satellite equity, or a more liquid alternative to private equity.
